Mint Tea



My husband loves to drink tea during the cold winter months. This is all that is left from last year's harvest.

I have peppermint, spearmint, and lemon balm waiting to be harvested. I used to cut a handful, wash, and then bundle the herbs and hang them upside down in my kitchen. It was easy to forget about them and they would often become dusty. Last summer, I received a food dehydrator for my birthday. I love using it for drying my herbs. I can get the herbs dry in about 24 hours and then store them in canning jars.
